Greetings.

I’m Sara Cowley, principal designer over at Sara Cowley Design. I am lucky enough to absolutely love my work creating print and surface solutions for my clients.  It still feels like such an accomplishment to carry a job from concept to completion, along with all the teeny details that must be considered along the way.

This all started over 10 years ago now, when I graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Studio Art. And, for the last four years, I’ve been out on my own. And, like I might have mentioned before— I’m absolutely loving it.

Since having my son almost a year ago, I’ve found myself inspired in completely new ways. I’m noticing more, and am able to translate what is going on in the world into my work. Teaching a typography class at the Creative Circus in Atlanta has also brought about new visual awareness. My most recent work has brought me back to why I became a designer in the first place: to create things!
